The same 200 guest wedding can cost under a crore or close to five, depending on which kind of hotel you choose. This guide sets out the real Jaipur wedding cost for 2026 and 2027, using package rates confirmed with the 30 Jaipur hotels listed on Venuekhoj in October 2026, and shows how hotel tier, dates and room blocks change the total.

How much does a wedding in Jaipur cost?

For rooms and all meals over two nights in peak season, a wedding for 200 guests costs Rs 60 L to Rs 90 L at an upscale Jaipur hotel, Rs 1.06 Cr to Rs 2.40 Cr at a luxury hotel and Rs 2.30 Cr to Rs 4.70 Cr at an ultra luxury hotel.

How Jaipur hotels price a wedding

Jaipur hotels quote a single rate per room per night, and that rate covers your guests' stay, their meals and the use of the hotel for your functions.

• Room: double occupancy, so one room houses two guests.
• Meals: buffet breakfast, buffet lunch, buffet hi tea and buffet dinner, every day of the booking.
• Taxes: included in the quoted rate.
• Venue: the hotel's event spaces are included once you book its minimum room block.
• Alcohol: outside the package, charged on actual consumption.
• Minimum stay: two nights.
• Minimum rooms: every hotel sets a minimum room block. Jaipur's blocks are smaller than Udaipur's, which matters for smaller weddings.

There is no separate per plate price and no separate venue rental.

Jaipur wedding cost by hotel tier

The 30 Jaipur hotels on Venuekhoj fall into four tiers, the widest spread of any city we cover, from upscale to ultra luxury.

Rates are per room per night, inclusive of four meals and taxes.

• Shoulder months: March and October sit between the two seasons, and each hotel quotes them separately.
• Luxury is the widest tier. Its 14 hotels run from heritage palaces in the old city to large resorts outside it, which is why the range is wide.

The minimum room block in Jaipur

Every Jaipur hotel asks you to book a minimum number of rooms, but Jaipur's blocks are much smaller than Udaipur's. Across the 30 hotels on Venuekhoj, the minimum runs from 43 to 250 rooms on auspicious dates and from 30 to 225 rooms on other dates.

• On auspicious dates, the typical Jaipur hotel asks for 100 rooms, which a 200 guest wedding fills exactly.
• On other dates, the typical hotel asks for 80 rooms.
• Small weddings fit. On non auspicious dates, 12 of the 30 hotels ask for 75 rooms or fewer, enough for a 150 guest wedding without paying for empty rooms. On auspicious dates, 7 still do.

Jaipur or Udaipur: how the cost compares

A mid size wedding usually costs less in Jaipur: the luxury tier starts lower, there is an upscale tier Udaipur does not have, and room blocks are smaller. At the very top, Jaipur's ultra luxury hotels can cost more than Udaipur's.

What the hotel package does not include

The package covers rooms, the four buffet meals, taxes and the hotel's event spaces. Everything else is a separate budget line.

Peak season, off season and auspicious dates

November to February is peak season in Jaipur, March and October are shoulder months, and April to September is off season.

• Off season rates run roughly a quarter to a half below peak. Luxury hotels drop from Rs 53,000 to Rs 1,20,000 per room per night to Rs 40,000 to Rs 65,000.
• Auspicious dates raise the minimum room block, from 80 rooms at the typical hotel to 100.
• Summer weddings need indoor space. Choose a hotel whose indoor spaces can take every function, so heat or rain does not decide your plan.

How to reduce the cost of a Jaipur wedding

The biggest savings come from the tier and the date, not from cutting the guest list.

• Compare tiers first. In peak season, a 200 guest wedding costs Rs 60 L to Rs 90 L at an upscale hotel and from Rs 1.06 Cr at a luxury hotel.
• Choose April to September. Package rates fall by roughly a quarter to a half.
• Pick a non auspicious date. The minimum room block shrinks, so you pay for fewer empty rooms.
• Match the block to your list. For 150 guests or fewer, ask for hotels with small minimum blocks. Jaipur has far more of them than Udaipur.
• Keep to two nights. It is the minimum hotels accept, and each extra night adds the full room block again.
